Message History

This section logs all incoming and outgoing messages exchanged between your WhatsApp number and your contacts.

To access Message History, go to System Logs. The window will, by default, load the Message History logs.

Message History Fields

The following fields are included in the message history logs:

Customer Name

The full name of the contact registered in your Marqvia account at the time of the message.

Customer Number

The contact's phone number.

Customer Email

The contact's registered email in your Marqvia account at the time of the message.

Message

A preview of the message content, whether incoming or outgoing.

Type

The type of message sent or received (e.g., text, media, template, interactive).

Direction

Indicates if the message is incoming or outgoing.

Created At

The timestamp of when the message was created.

Send Status

The delivery status of the message (e.g., pending, sent, delivered, failed).

Read Status

The read status of the message (e.g., viewed, delivered, sent, triggered).

Action

A column to open the conversation window, or view the message details.

Note: The viewed status depends on the contact's read status settings. If this setting is disabled, the viewed status will not update.


Message History Filter Functions

  • Channel: Choose the channel you want to view the message history for (e.g., WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, or other integrated channels).

  • Date Range: Select a time frame for the message history: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, or Custom.

  • Search Bar: Filter the message history by entering a contact's name or phone number in the search bar.

  • Advanced Filter: Perform a more detailed search by filtering message history based on specific fields.


Exporting the Message History

Click on the Export button to download the filtered information as a CSV file to your system.
