What are Drip Campaigns?

Drip campaigns in Marqvia allow you to send a sequence of messages in a timely manner to a single or multiple contacts.

How Drip Campaigns Work

Drip Campaigns are built around a step-by-step message broadcast system. Each step can include a single or multiple messages across the same or different channels. For the messages of each step to be broadcast, the previous step must be completed. After that, subsequent steps are executed based on a set time or condition.

Using Drip Campaigns, you can send various message types, including simple messages, List/Button/Options/Product Messages, or pre-approved message templates, depending on the selected channels.

Note on WhatsApp: The WhatsApp Business Platform has a Customer Service Window (24-hour) in which businesses can send simple messages, List/Button/Options/Product Messages, or pre-approved templates. Outside of this 24-hour window, you can only send a message template.


Creating a Drip Campaign

To create a new drip campaign, click the + Create button (add icon image here).

Pausing a Drip Campaign

To pause an active drip campaign, click the Pause button (add icon image here) under the Actions tab of the campaign. Once paused, the drip campaign will not run, even if new contacts are added.

Editing a Drip Campaign

To edit a drip campaign, click the Edit button (add icon image here) under the Actions tab of the campaign.

Deleting a Drip Campaign

To delete a drip campaign, click the Trash button (add icon image here) under the Actions tab. Then, click the Confirm button in the pop-up to finalize the deletion.

Duplicating a Campaign

If you'd like to duplicate a campaign, click the Duplicate button.

This will direct you to the campaign builder with duplicate steps and messages. From there, you can add more steps or messages, and edit or delete existing ones. Once you have saved the campaign and assigned contacts, the Drip Campaign will be ready to run.
