Contact Info
This section, located within the Marqvia chat window, contains the profile and information of your contact.
Contact Details
Contact Name: This information will be automatically captured for new contacts. Once captured or manually edited, the name will not change unless you edit it again.
Phone Number: This is the contact's WhatsApp number.
Email: If an email address has been entered for the contact, it will be displayed here.
Assignment and Team Members
Assigned Agent: You can manually assign the conversation to a specific user by selecting their name from the dropdown menu.
Assigned Department: You can manually assign the conversation to a specific department from the dropdown menu. To assign it to yourself, select Assign to Me.
Additional Chat Members: If you wish to invite a team member to view this conversation, click the + button to add them.
Contact Attributes
This area displays any Contact Fields that contain data and have been enabled with the "Show On Contact Grid" setting.
Full Name: You can edit the contact's full name here.
Tags: You can add any existing or new tags here to categorize the contact.
Remarks: You can add any internal notes or remarks about this contact for your team's reference.
Steps to add an existing Tag
Click on the Tags field bar to display a list of created tags
Select the tag you wish to add.
Click Save once you're done.
Steps to add a new Tag
Click on the Tags field bar, type the desired tag name, and press Enter to create it.
Click Save once you're done.
Refresh the page to have the newly added tag appear in the dropdown list for future use.
Editing a Contact's Information
To edit a contact's details directly from the chat window:
Click the Edit icon in the Contact Info section.
The "Edit Contact" pop-up will appear. Here, you can edit details such as the Phone Number, Tags, Full Name, Email, Time Zone, Custom Fields, and more.
Once you have finished editing the contact, click Save.
