Replying to Customers
The Marqvia Chat module provides a variety of tools to help you communicate effectively with your customers.
Messaging Tools
These are the core tools you can use to send messages, attachments, and more.
Quick Reply
You can send a quick reply that you've created using the Quick Reply tab in Settings. There are three ways to access this feature:
Click the plus button icon, then select Quick Reply.
Click the / button.
Type a backslash (
/) directly in the message area.
A pop-up will appear with all the quick replies created in your Marqvia account. Select the one you want to send and click the send button.
Send Contact
If you wish to send a contact, click the plus button icon, then select Send Contact. A pop-up will open where you can fill in the contact's information. Click Share to send it.
Send Template Message
If you want to send an approved template message, click the plus button icon, then select Send Template Message. From the "Select Template" pop-up, choose the template you want to use and click Send.
Send Buttons, Flows, Options, or Product Messages
If you've created interactive messages for your supported channels, click the plus button icon and select Send Buttons/Options/Product Messages. From the "Send Interactive Message" pop-up, choose your message and click Send.
Other Messaging Features
Attach File
You can easily send files to your customers using Marqvia Chat.
Click the attachment button icon.
Choose Select a file from your device to upload a new file.
If you've already uploaded the file to the File Manager, click on the File Manager tab, select the file, and click Upload.
Once the file is added to the chat, click the send button.
Audio Message
To send an audio message:
From the pop-up menu, choose Record Voice.
Click the microphone button to begin recording.
Once finished, click the stop button.
Click Upload if the recording is okay, or click the Clear button to re-record.
After it's uploaded, click the send button.
Sending Emoji
You can also use emojis in your messages. Simply click the emoji button icon, select your emoji, and send it.
Private Notes
You can send private notes for internal communication that are only visible to other agents.
To send a private note, type your message in the chat area.
For internal tagging, type
@followed by the agent's name.
Once sent, the message will appear in the chat area at that point in time, but it's only visible to your team. The user who is tagged will receive a notification on their Marqvia app or desktop.
