Connecting to Instagram

This tutorial guides you through setting up an Instagram Channel on Marqvia to manage customer interactions efficiently.

Pre-Requisites

Before proceeding, ensure the following steps have been completed:

• Switch to Instagram Professional Account: Convert your Instagram account to a Professional account. Refer to Instagram’s official guide for instructions.

• Connect Instagram to a Facebook Page: Link your Instagram account to a Facebook Page by following Facebook’s official guide.

• Enable Message Control Connected Tools: Allow message access for connected tools. Visit the guide for more details.

• Ensure you have the Admin Access role for the Facebook page.

Steps to Connect Instagram Channels

Access Channels in Marqvia

Navigate to Settings > Channels in your Marqvia account.

Create an Instagram Channel

• Click Create Channel.

• Select Instagram and then click Next.

Connect Instagram Page

Click Connect Instagram Page to begin the integration.

Log In to Facebook

A new tab will open.

• Enter the login credentials of the Facebook account linked to your Instagram Business account.

• Continue with the logged-in account.

Select Instagram Business Account

After logging in, you will be brought back to Marqvia.

• Choose the Instagram Page you wish to connect.

• Click Finish to complete the channel creation.

Note: You will only be able to select Pages that you have access to. If you can't find the page you want to connect, please check if you have access to it in your Meta Business Portfolio.

Your Instagram Channel is Ready

Once completed, you will see your Marqvia Instagram Channel listed in the Channels section, ready to manage customer interactions seamlessly.
