Create Automation from Templates

You can directly create an automation from a message template in Marqvia, providing a straightforward way to build workflows that start with a specific message.

Creating a Message Template

Navigate to: Settings → Channels.

Manage Templates: Click the "Manage Templates" tab under the Channel section.

Click: "+ Create WhatsApp Template" button.

A pop-up will appear for creating the template.

Fill in the template details:

• Name: Enter a unique template name.

• Category: Select one from Marketing, Utility, or Authentication.

• Language: Choose the language matching the body text content.

Setting Up Template:

• Select Standard as the template type.

• Body: Add the text (Mandatory).

• Add Button: Choose the Custom type.

Submit for Approval: Once everything is set, submit the template for approval.

Creating the Automation

Once your template message is approved:

Click on the three dots on the right under the Actions column for your template

Select "Create Automation workflow."

You will be brought to the automation screen with the trigger node being the template message itself. The name of the automation will be based on your template message name. You may start building your automation from this trigger node directly.
